Earlier today, a heartbreaking discovery was made along a roadside: a dog lying motionless, softly crying in pain. His long, dirty fur obscured much of his face, but his eyes told the story—filled with fear and a silent plea for help.

Curled near a pillar, he was surrounded by scraps of food, likely left behind by passersby who didn’t stay long enough to offer real help.
The dog couldn’t crawl or stand, and his hind legs appeared severely injured. The air was thick with a foul smell, and flies swarmed around him endlessly.
We cleared away the trash around him and tried to drive the flies off, but no gesture could lessen the weight of what we saw. It was impossible not to feel the pain he’d endured.

Still, even as he cried, he accepted the food we offered, eating with desperate hunger. His body was frighteningly thin—he barely weighed a kilogram.
It was clear that without immediate medical care, he wouldn’t survive much longer.
We gently placed newspaper in the back of our car to make a soft spot for him, and two kind young girls helped clean and comfort the dog during the ride.

Together, we rushed him to a veterinary hospital, where he was treated right away. Because of how fragile he was, the vets couldn’t begin a full set of tests immediately.
Instead, they recommended keeping him hospitalized for at least a week, providing intensive care before moving forward with a more detailed diagnosis.

Before we left, we made sure he knew he wasn’t alone anymore. We promised to return and keep cheering him on. The rescue team remains dedicated to his recovery, ready to stand by him every step of the way.
What began as a tragic moment on the side of the road has become the start of a new chance—for healing, safety, and a better life.
